I liked the kimono style / side snap long sleeve onesies with foldover mittens plus swaddle in a muslin blanket. Easy to get to the diaper area, easy to get on and off (no fussing with things going over their bobbly head), and no mittens to wrangle or lose!

I liked these ones from carters https://www.amazon.com/Carters-Baby-Boys-Pack-Bodysuits/dp/B0153XEQ26 and these ones from niteo ($$$$ but softer and held up better than the carters https://www.amazon.com/Niteo-Organic-Cotton-Kimono-Bodysuit/dp/B00BNEO2XI). The carters NB is a lot smaller than the niteo NB size, fwiw.
