Would say for air flow 3,

Would get 2 of these for the front

Noctua NF-P14s redux-1500 PWM, High Performance Cooling Fan, 4-Pin, 1500 RPM (140mm, Grey) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KF7O58G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_18RZDbC6Z7K7R

And replace the 120mm in back with this

The pwm version is backordered until the 24th but you can purchase it for the same price.

Case fans will be included with your case. If you're in a well ventilated area you don't really need a new case fan as the NZXT case already has pretty good airflow, but if you want a quiet, nice fan I would go with a Noctua One

u/DRKMSTR · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

It depends on your processor.

What do you have?

Do you overclock?

You should be fine enough, but I'd use at least 1 PWM fan.

Here's some cheap noctuas that work great:$28 for 2

Alternatively, here's some great corsiars: $27 for 2

No, I wouldn't mind at all.

If you feel the need to do something about cooling in the case, you could replace the front case fan with a Noctua NF-S12B redux-1200 PWM. That would improve airflow in the case and allow the motherboard to control the fan speed based on temperature. Note that this fan is designed as a case fan with high airflow. It shouldn't be used where high pressure is needed such as on an AIO radiator.

Got this card a month or so ago as an upgrade from a GTX 580 and as a "hold me over" until I do a full system rebuild later this year - pretty happy with it. Probably the most "demanding" thing I play is Dying Light and it runs it pretty well on max settings.

Heat was definitely an issue until I got some more case fans. If you don't have a well-ventilated case, I would pass on this. I'm now running 2 intakes and 2 exhausts (Noctua Redux 120mm), and it stays around 65-70C at full load.

I have two of these Noctua NF-P14r , if you want them. I can sell them for 10 each including shipping if you want them. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KF7QO2G/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Also, I have one of these Noctua NF-S12B if that is more your speed.

Noctua NF-S12B if you care more about performance, reliability and longevity than RGB or other aesthetics. This is what it looks like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KF7PPY4/?tag=pcpapi-20

Not as ugly as most other Noctuas, but it's not pretty. Best fans you can buy though.

Ok thanks. How are those compared to https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KF7PPY4/?tag=pcpapi-20 this. And would getting 2 of the Cougar ones be better than these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F6S0XJO/?tag=pcpapi-20&th=1

Sorry If i'm asking too many questions I don't know much about case fans

> What fan controllers do you recommend?

I use the Corsair Commander Mini. The software is complete and utter shit but it's really the only thing I've found that correctly controls my Noctua IndustrialPPC fans.

If you get 4 pin fans ( also called PWM ) you need to make sure your fan controller actually controls on the 4th pin. Most fan controllers will regulate fan speed by giving the fan less power which makes it spin slower. For most fans this is OK even if they're 4 pin controlled, but for some it can wear out the fan more quickly.

If you pick a fan controller that only controls voltage, go with a 3 pin fan ( DC or Voltage controlled )

> What case fans do you recommend?

Noctua fans are held in very high regard. They have the original beige and tan fans which are good at moving air at decent noise levels, but are expensive.

Then they have the IndustrialPPC line of fans that move a crap-ton of air with a lot of noise ( if you spin them at <1500RPM they're silent and still move a lot of air ) but are very expensive.

Then they have the Redux line which is like the beige and tan ones, but cheaper and older less efficient design.

> What are good fans to put on my cooler master V6?

Same as above.

> If anyone knows what I should do I would appreciate it.

Do not open your power supply. There are capacitors in there that can seriously injure you if you don't do things correctly. Look at getting a new PSU from a good manufacturer. Corsair's PSUs are extremely good and don't even turn on their fan under a certain load.

Edit: Added links and expanded some reasoning.

The case came with a Y splitter already, don't need a new one, but if I ever do, I'll look into Silverstone. Thanks. :)

It's fine if they're synchronized. Both fans are just shoving all the hot air out of the case anyway, not like either of them should be doing less work.

I plan on getting two of these now that I know it will work.

Thanks or the reply!

be silent

noctua (cheaper ver), noctua (nicer one)

There also these if you don't care about quality.

120mm air flow (s) are available in a couple non-brown lines

Redux (gray): https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NF-S12B-redux-1200-PWM-Performance/dp/B00KF7PPY4

Chromax (black): https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NF-S12A-PWM-chromax-Black-swap-Premium-Grade/dp/B07657VBQQ/

140mm non-brown fans seem to be available in just the "a" profile which works well for both air flow and sp applications but I'm not sure about the Redux line. I've used the 2000 & 3000 rpm IndustriaPPC versions and I believe there's a Chromax version.

u/dimtwork · 1 pointr/buildapc

noctua fans are without a doubt the best when it comes to cooling, you did not say if you need 120 or 140mm fans but here are my recommendations:

120mm: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KF7PPY4/?tag=pcpapi-20

140mm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KF7Q4WG/?tag=pcpapi-20

If you want a rather RGB/pretty fans then corsair is the next best choice
