Is this about the Nvidia 3D Vision? Because you'll need the emitter, glasses and an Nvidia card for it to work.
The rest is pretty straight-forward: just configure 3D vision in the Nvidia control panel and enable it to run when you run an application full screen.
Well here is the issue: If you go with the nVidia glasses then you will probably want to go with an nVidia card: my card, so that the drivers match up. As for monitors I went with this, and it really seems to have enough brightness to compensate for the glasses blocking so much light.
If you are looking for a cheaper setup, I have heard that there are glasses that utilize 60 hz screens, but tend to flicker quite a bit. When I researched them further, there were questions about whether the new drivers supported them or not, and it looks like nVidia is trying to dump them. So...
For $510 + $157 + a good gaming comp, i think you can get better gaming experience. It's great even without the 3D thing.
