Reddit mentions of Nyko Thin Case - Dockable Protective Case with Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo Switch - Smoke

I currently use the smoky Nyko Dock Case, and I like it because it gives a plastic shell on the console without making it bulky. It is advertised to be so thin in docks in the case, and I remember it did decently. It's a thin plastic case around almost all of your Switch to protect it from scratches & bumps, and comes with a tempered glass screen protector. It's also dockable, and thin enough to fit in many carrying cases.

2.) For everyday travel protection, you can get a zippered carrying case. Since I love "slim", but didn't want to sacrifice protection, I bought the TomToc Slim Hard Case (available in different colors):

When the Switch first came out, there weren't that many choices for "slim" hard cases, but now I see there are several similar-styled cases that also look pretty durable.

3.) If you travel long-distances or on lengthy trips, you may want to get a larger zippered hard case to fit your chargers, battery packs, extra joy-cons and/or pro controllers, HDMI dock, tons of games, etc. I don't have any one in particular to recommend, but in searching ebay it seems like there are hundreds of different cases available now (though not all of them look good).
