I'm a guy with long hair. I used to have a problem with frizzy and damaged hair until a girlfriend helped me with it. Here are the things she taught me:

  • Keep the split ends trimmed.
  • Do not use cheap shampoo and conditioner. (I use Pantene and also Ojon.)
  • A good spray in conditioner / detangeler can help. I like Ojon for this.
  • If you use a towel to dry your hair, never "scrub" your hair with it. This is really damaging. (I didn't know this for a long time and really noticed a change in my hair when I stopped doing it.)
  • If you use a hair dryer keep it at a low or medium heat and concentrate on the hair closer to the scalp. Never use high heat.
