I recently purchased this [projector] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E4JEDWE/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and now play it against my living room wall and it's glorious. I can see the detail so much better now... the only minor gripe is now I play 720p PS3 games from time to time and I can see major differences in detail from PS3 to PS4 that I didn't notice AS much as now. Although that isn't much of a gripe as a different system/reason why I wanted to get next gen too.

I actually want to try playing FEZ in 3D as it seems like it'd be fun in 3D. :)

Mount it basically above where you were standing taking the picture.

On wall that size and from that distance (guessing 14 feet) you should get a crystal clear 120" picture.

Toss out your tv/move it to bedroom.

While a screen would be ideal the blank white wall should be sufficient to give you a fantastic picture.

It's 720p, but 1080p at under $600 is just not really a thing.

If 1080p is a must then the best bets I know of would be the Acer H6510BD at $660

But I believe the ViewSonic to be the weakest in terms of quality.

The Optima HD131Xe is a great choice for this.
I got the projector for $717 on Amazon, and another $75 for the screen (84 inch 16:9). I use it for PC gaming and sometimes general PC use, and the response time is one of the lowest I've seen. It's on par with my monitor.
