I would encourage you to repair it yourself if your soldering skills are OK and have the equipment. There is plenty of really good DIY content in youtube about this issue (it is pretty common).
If this is not the case, just find someone with soldering skills to do it for you. You can even just buy the part yourself and get someone to fix it.
The faulty part is the same as in the xbox one normal controller, or at least it can be replaced by it. My replacement was just the normal part.
