  You could quickly and easily install these on your shelves. The only concern I would have is the angle of the shelves. The sides of the plants on the back of the shelves would get more direct light, so just be sure to rotate your plants every week.

I got a set of 6 LED bars online for like $55 and they work great. You need something between 5000k to 6500k ideally(thats the color)

I mounted them on my shelf and put my plants right below, so they get plenty of light. I try to leave the lights on from 8-12 hours a day. These lights are a bit more expensive than some others, but you do get six of them, each is a little less than 2 feet long, and so far my plants have been loving them.
