For a start, I'd expect it to take a fucking picture every time you press the shutter button. To continue, this is the sort of featureset I'd expect from a $100 camera.
And this wasn't a $100 camera. The early bird price was $160. If you want to buy one now (dear god why!?) with the full collection of fake film cartridges, it would cost $322. That's a legitimately outrageous price for a crappy camera. Hell, $100 would have been outrageous for the shit build quality, shit photo quality, and complete dearth of functional controls this turd provides.
For less than this shitty yashica knockoff, you can get a Panasonic ZS50. That is a well-reviewed camera with a functional viewfinder (and an LCD display), functional focus control, 30x optical zoom, and about a hundred other features that the fake yashica lacks. Oh, and it will take a fucking picture when you press the button.
This is a shitty kickstarter in every sense of the term.

I am leaving to go to Zambia for the Peace Corps in February and have narrowed my camera choices down to 3. Any suggestions or pros/cons for each camera would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have any experiences with these cameras or suggestions? I want to take really good quality pictures of my village, wildlife, and other things!
Hiya. I'm pretty new to the whole photography scene and was looking to try and get a good beginner camera when i saw this one on a black friday sale. Can anyone give me any input into whether or not this would be a good first one?
