They have them at Best Buy I know. They aren't on the wall at the one where I live, but they have one setup with 3d glasses at some kiosk. Also, why not just get one from Amazon? 46 inches at 8 feet isn't very big at all, I'd recommend at least 55 inches. You can get the 60 inch ST50 for 1599 from Amazon, hell of a deal if you ask me for one of the best TV's in production that just also happens to be cheaper and 14 inches bigger than the one you're considering. If you really want to take advantage of 1080p content, this is the direction I'd go personally.

Panasonic VIERA is the best plasma tv you can buy and you can get it under 1k. It has netflix, pandora, wireless and everything else you could want. I got them off amazon about two years ago, so mine is an older model but this is the exact same feature set and I paid like 900$ at the time.
Edit: I just saw your wanting a 55+ inch, which screws it up. Thats like $1500
