The Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 is a drone you can use with a coding language called johhny-five which is a Javascript framework. Don't know if you can pilot it 100% with your pc, but you can code acro routines and movement schemes.

I picked up a cool one on WOOT! for $120:

Obviously not as good as the one this guy has but it's definitely not a toy. It's pretty neat you fly it with your apple / android device.
