If you are getting a kitty that's younger than 3 months then go with the small kitten size, but if he/she is like 4 months or so start with medium. I got him a kitten size one and he has almost grown out of it!
Also thank you, I live in a really old house and it has that Harry Potter door in my laundry room lol! It goes back another 10 feet or so, so I staple gunned up some vinyl fabric to make the cave!
