Looking for a cheap shelf top stereo system to replace my grandmother's that finally kicked the bucket. Nothing fancy, doesn't need big speakers, just needs to be able to play her old cd's for the holidays. Hoping to find something $50-$75 because my grandparents will barely use it outside of holidays when people come over.

Considering something like this just because of the price but I don't want to get her something too cheap. Honestly if I could just find the stereo/cd player without the speakers for a reasonable price that would be amazing because then I could just go get some JBLs or those $40 monoprice ones and cut the wire myself giving her some actually decent speakers for the price everyone else is charging.

I've also seen this Insiginia system, I know bestbuys house brand which typically means shit, but it has some decent reviews. More than I want to spend but for a simple AiO system I could just grab and go with it would be nice.

So yeah let me see what you guys can find/suggest, I figured this would be way quicker and cheaper than it is turning out to be when she first told me about it but everything now is all about the connectivity/iPhones and it's just way more than she needs.

edit - forgot to mention this philips one I had open in another tab; seems like my best bet so far
