I use these. They work pretty well for me even though I wear glasses and they can be used for about 7 hours on a full charge. No issues with sweat ruining them so far

I mainly listen to spoken audio -- comedy, podcasts, radio -- and I love my Bluetooth Backbeat 903+ headphone from Plantronics. Cord-free, a button for getting to Siri on the left ear, play controls on the right ear, 7 hours of battery. Pretty cheap, too.

I've tried some other bluetooth headphones of this type and the sound quality doesn't come close. These actually have some decent bass.

Plantronics Backbeats. I don't understand why everyone doesn't have them.

They're light, and because they have a thick, short cable, you basically forget they're even there.

Note: they don't really block out outside noise, which can be a good or bad thing depending on your situation.

I don't have the armband anymore. It wasn't spectacular looking and I am fine with my phone in my pocket. Since I don't have it I am not sure about the size, but Nexus 6 is a big phone, I doubt it will fit.

For me, regular earbuds never always fall out, the in-ear models only stay in if I push in in to where my ears start to hurt. Because of that I always use something with a hook or a band. I had the http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-PMX-685i-Neckband-Headphones/dp/B0094R4Q6Y/ before this, but the wire started to annoy me. So I started looking for something:

I just splurged and bought these after hearing good reviews from a friend. I know they're not one eared bluetooth headphone but they seem to be well fitted and wouldn't fall off (seeing from your above concern).

I've been using these Plantronics Backbeat 903+ for a few years. It's got okay sound and fits comfortably, plus about 6 total hours use between charges. When I bought, the reviews were acceptable and the price around $50. I like that it's designed to let ambient sounds in, which is important for not getting hit on runs. I don't like earbuds because they never stay in, so I like the over the ear support. It doesn't look like they make this anymore, so the price is higher, but they do make a model called the Backbeat fit which have a similar ear-hugging shape, but are also much more expensive.

There are plenty of discussion over in /r/running, like this one, and I thought I found a decently priced (~$50) well-reviewed one that I said I would purchase once these go kaput, but now I can't find it. Just search 'bluetooth' over there and you'll find more discussions than you really want to dig through. Just be aware that many BT headphones will have mediocre sound quality, accept it, and you won't pay hundreds of dollars on them. If you need good sound, you can venture into the higher regions.

I have these they work quite well

Got these as a gift. With an iPhone, they are great when the phone sits on my treadmill. Also great for other workouts IF I place the phone in an armband. I get audio cutouts if I place the phone in pockets at waist level.

Uggg this struggle!! I'm needing a new headset myself since mine finally died after many years of use.

I recommend the Plantronics. Specifically the 903+ or Backbeats. They are an older model but I was really happy with them so will probably end up buying another set.

Reason why I like them. Plantronics like to use these molded ear buds that fit comfortably in the ear. Now you mention noise cancelling but what I liked about these is that I could hear conversations while they were in place. I could talk with these in place without yelling.

It seems the majority of ear buds are just the little bulb that you shove into your ear canal. I find these uncomfortable after a while as if feels like my ear is being forced to accommodate the bulb. Yes, even with trying the various sizes. Since these create such a seal in the ear by wedging inside the ear canal, I am essentially shut off to the world. When talking it forces me to yell bc I cant hear my own voice and therefore compensate. So I then have to remove them and put them back in.

Sadly since my Plantronics have died I am use some cheap Chinese TaoTronics. Not comphy, the wire is awkward and the audio is poor quality. Music doesnt have the low end that it needs. So dont get those.

Plantronics 903+ I can only find them on ebay. They have some new models with the type of bud I like, but ouch $$.
