Seems promising actually, after reading a little bit about it. I don't know if it would help with godrays, but it might be a good cleaner.

I'm always surprised by how many people don't cover their necks fully. No exposed skin allowed. This includes over the back of the neck.

I've seen suggestions for Rain-X. I haven't used it myself, but I have heard that it can create a permanent haze in plastic, and the manufacturer does not recommend it. So I'd avoid that.

I use Plexus. I'll give my visor a quick spray before I ride any time I expect rain, and I carry it with me all the time. It helps water bead up and roll right off. You can also clean everything else on your bike with it.

Don't forget to lube your chain often. A little rust isn't bad, but take time to scrape it clean every couple weeks.

And personally, I'd invest in a pair of "driving lights". I just bought the branded OEM lights for my bike, which seemed good enough, but maybe some other folks who have done some research can chime in. They don't particularly help you see, but they really help you be seen. And sometimes, that's more important than the the rest of your safety gear combined. In fog or rain or snow or darkness - take a hint from boats.

Plexus

It's actually a plastic polish/wax, and it works really well. I used to work at a motorcycle shop and vendors from time to time would put stickers on parts that didn't come off all the way. Just spray it on thick, and gently work it in with your fingers. Once the paper and glue has dissolved, wipe off with a clean cloth towel.

This stuff also works to fix scratched CD's, polish and protect sunglasses, and other plastic products. Years after I quit working at the MC shop, I still keep a can around.

Guess I'm not the only one who figured this out!
