carbon paper. place this under the design you wish to burn. and trace the design. the carbon paper will transfer onto the wood.
Have you considered using carbon paper to transfer the images? Would save you a lot of time, not having to cut out your stencils. Its simple to use, relatively cheap, and somewhat reusable.
All you would have to do is place the carbon paper between the wood and the image, trace the outline of the image with a pencil. The carbon paper will transfer your tracing straight to the wood. Then you'd just have to carve out the design.
