Tengo mala experiencia con Spektra (puro rebranding de producto chino). Pero puedo recomendarte este (la semana pasada lo ví en apumanque) que me ha durado unos 10 años, sobrevivió un terremoto y un aluvión y se escucha 10/10.
I got one of these, audio quality is actually really good (it comes with a mic contrary to the main photo) - http://www.amazon.com/GE-98950-Detachable-Desktop-Microphone/dp/B000BYCNKU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394717432&sr=8-1&keywords=ge+desktop+mic
I have this one. It isn't amazing but I've never had the issue you're describing. It really is a budget mic though. It doesn't seem to be the high quality type you're looking for.
The bad news is that at this point, it's basically pointless to start a gaming channel without voice commentary.
The good news is that it really doesn't take much to gain the capability for voice commentary. Audacity is a free program which most of us use to record our voice, and it is possible to get halfway decent sound quality out of a cheap microphone like this one.
