I pretty much follow what John Meadows says to follow.

  • I eat a perfect ratio'd preworkout meal of cream of rice, protein, peanut butter, and banana.
  • Take a homemade preworkout of beta alanine, citruline malate, and glycerol. Caffeine sparingly.
  • Intraworkout I drink cyclic dextrin/EAAs (or whatever acronym is) plus I add a little sodium, potassium, and magnesium for reasons I've forgotten
  • Post workout protein shake
  • Big ass carby proteiny breakfast about 45min later (post shower/getting kids ready)

    Maybe next time I’m out I’ll buy up Meadows version and see if I notice any differences.
