I think they are great, especially for the price. The idea was to provide a good bearing with good quality control at a great price.

I have compared them extensively to several variations of full ceramics, other hybrids, 10 ball full stainless, 8 ball full stainless, and feel they perform very well. Out of all those options and getting back to your original question I wouldn't recommend anything full ceramic, from my experience they are much louder, not as smooth, and more expensive.
