Here's one: https://www.amazon.com/Amara-Organics-Retinol-Hyaluronic-Vitamins/dp/B00VGWX2J2

Here's another one that claims to have been prepped in a cGMP US location. Maybe you can ask for a CoA and MSDS: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071R5YMMX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_AzbxDbGQX7ZD4

I think exfoliation (BHAs like SA at 10-15% strength minimum) can also achieve the same wrinkle repair that retinol does, alongside dermarolling (CROSS method accdg. to pubmed) then hyaluronic acid - what is your opinion on this

Hi Everybody,

Hope all is well. Thank you for taking the time out to read this and give me feedback.

My dermatologist has me on this routine:

---

Day

  1. Wash face with Sulfa Wash (Sodium Sulfacetamide 8% , Sulfur 4%)
  2. Topical Dapsone 7.5% cream
  3. Elta MD UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 Sunscreen

    ---

    Night

  4. Wash face with Sulfa Wash (Sodium Sulfacetamide 8% , Sulfur 4%)
  5. ALTERNATE EVERY OTHER DAY BETWEEN

    A) Acne Combo Gel - Forte (Benzoyl Peroxide 5%, Clindamycin Phosphate 1%, Niacinamide 2%, Trentinoin 0.05%)

    B) Tazarotene 0.05% Cream (Niacinamide 4%, Tazarotene 0.05%)

  6. Cerave PM Facial moisturizing Lotion

    ---

I recently spoke w my dermatologist and purchased over-the-counter Amara Organics Retinol Cream 2.5% w Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamins E & B5. I'm wondering where I use this in my night routine? Would it be after my prescribed topical gel but before my moisturizer or after everything? Or would it even be in substitution of the topical gels? Also, since it's such a strong cream, this should be something I do every other day starting out. Would it be better to pair it with the Combo Gel or the Tazarotene?

    ---

Additional Question: After I shave, should I first apply after shave (which closes the pores) then apply my acne products or apply my acne products first? In general is it better to apply products when the pores are open or closed?

p.s. my dermatologist is out of the country and I also just wanted to hear this communities feedback :)

Thanks so much for the help and I await your responses!
