Get one of these, they come with a small fan.

I got the Sega Genesis, there is a modified script that makes the reset and power function appropriately.

The retroflag controllers aren't very satisfying and they are smaller if you think about getting them with it.

Remember to remove the sdcard before assembling the case over it.

Other than breaking my sdcard while assembling, and the ethernet port on the Sega model is hard to access to remove and unhook, I am really satisfied with the case. They reimbursed me a small amount for breaking my sdcard, theyre the best.

I have RPI3b+ I have it overclocked to 1500 and sdram and gpu 550, I don't think it goes beyond 65C with the fan. The highest overclock I had was 1600 and sdram 625, I think it is possible to stabilize it with a lower sdram and overvoltage but I didn't want to try.

**EDIT RPI3B+** Sorry unstable arm=1600

arm I didn't push it far beyond 1575 and I use 1565 or 1555, and even this could have some memory failures on extensive testing. Like 4x (1x per core) simultaneous Memtest on sdram. With the AVS added on, over_voltage=1 is required for arm_freq>1556 and probably suggested for arm_freq>1500

sdram 600 hasn't failed me yet, I use over_voltage_sdram_p=7,i=3,c=3 I don't know if this is too high. I did some extensive tests with 667 and p=7,i=7,c=3 which performed remarkably well and didn't crash but didn't pass extensive memtests.

gpu and core, gpu_freq=525 and core_freq=600 are good marks, if the gpu cores are clocked above ~550 they will boot and sometimes fail. while the core_freq simply cannot go beyond ~635 at ~1.4V. core_freq=601-635 is an unknown stability range. I use gpu_freq=500 and core_freq=600. The over_voltage=1 is probably suggested as core_freq>608 would not boot without greater than 1.3500V.

keyboard numlock doesn't light up when plugged into pi and i press it. it also doesn't light up when plugged into my laptop to test, but the caps lock does/the keyboard works. just like with controllers that power up elsewhere, even the caps lock key lights up elsewhere but not with the pi, too.

pi case with fan. this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HF2BKLQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

red lights are on, no green flashing lights at welcome screen. green light briefly on when turning on pi, remains off during boot through to welcome screen.

reflashed, same results.

had the pi for a bit without using, but always made sure it was safe/not mishandled. possible something happened over time (or initially and i just never knew) that is causing it to be defective and i need to replace it?
