So far I love it! It has a very nice feel and it really displays the phone well. And, if it does turn yellow over time (like clear cases are known to do), it was only $10...I can get another one!

Skins will only protect against scratches. Dropping a phone with just a skin will result in typical drop damage, which includes broken screens, protector or not as there is no buffer to take the force that a case gives.
If you want protection, get a case. If you want protection and show off a skin. There are a few cases out there that might interest you. Like the Ringke Fusion and the Spigen Liquid Crystal for example. There are some others out there too.

Don't let the price scare you away. Honestly the best "clear" case I've used. Not heavy at all and I like that the edges are raised, making it easy to place the pixel face-down.
