I understand there are plenty of sources which support Reagan's contribution to the cold war, though I do feel that article isn't particularly exhaustive. In any case though, I appreciate the response and source.

Here are two books which I found helpful during my Polisci program, and which contributed part of the background on my position on Reagan.

Stephen E. Ambrose and Douglas G. Brinkley, Rise to Globalism: American Foreign Policy since 1938, 9th ed. (New York: Penguin Books, 2010).

John Lewis Gaddis, The Cold War: A New History (New York: The Penguin Press, 2005).

Remember that the Job Knowledge is only one section of three, and that it encompasses more than just American Foreign Policy. Make sure you review everything.

That said, I re-read this book every year before taking the test, and it was a pretty good review for me: Rise to Globalism: American Foreign Policy Since 1938. It used to be on the reading list, not sure if it still is.

Biographies and Foreign policy books. Eisenhower is an interesting read as well.

I rather liked this one. I'm not sure how dated it is though.

I read these two and then just did all the questions on the app and the study guide (use the 2017 version because it has the answers to the practice situational judgement questions! 2018 doesn't):

Maybe try to be a bit more specific on what kind of knowledge you want to gain. Still, that book is pretty informative.
