I got the previous model a couple years ago and have worn them for over 100 miles of elk hunting in Colorado and absolutely love them. The first time I wore them was a 7 mile hike on the first day of a hunt (40lb pack, steep and rocky terrain) and they performed great. No slipping, great ankle support and not even a hint of a blister even with zero prior break-in.
