You could bring some $5 gift cards, write your name, number, and email on the back. And if you see any photographers wandering around with a nice DSLR ask them if they are bored. And then offer to trade the gift card for them taking some photos and emailing them to you later.

Most photographers will be open to taking a few pics for you. Especially if you bring your own microsd card they can use, so they can just take a bunch of pics give it back to you, and then move on and not have to do any more work. It's a little annoying to find 5 random pics and email them to someone when you could take up to 1000 pics that day. But swapping a micro sd card out is super easy, and your more likely to get a bunch of fun pictures because all they have to do is shoot, no editing/organizing work.

This sd card will hold ~900 raw photos. Just dont lose it.

Good luck.

Here is a list of the parts I used, from Amazon, to make an NES Mini.

Raspberry Pi

Case

Power Supply

Controller

Micro SD

You would also need an HDMI cable if you don't have one already. Some people use wireless Bluetooth controllers, (the PI has Bluetooth and WiFi built in), but I don't know how well they work, latency wise.

The R4i Gold 3ds should support up to 32gb of micro sd card. I don't think it support anything above that though or maybe there's a way to make it work by performing certain formatting on it. But bottom line is, your card will work on it.

One highly recommended reliable site is the http://nds-card.com/. Even gbatemp personally recommended it too. They should have everything you need. I've took a look and it looks like their stuff are pretty complete.
Bad reviews. Don't use that site. Can't recommend you any other site since I have never used them before. Wouldn't want you to take the risk.

The PI isn't much cheaper than a retail-priced classic...

Will this work with a New 3DS?
