I suspect the actual game carts are capable of being faster but Sony might have capped the read/write speeds...I barely see a difference running off of SD cards but i haven't done extensive tests (probably someone else has)

Not as much as you'd think honestly...the entire rom collection takes up like less than...30GB (GBA is largest). It's the psp and vita games that really take up space lol. A shame there's no DS emulator or i'd have the entire portable set good to go almost XD

I used it for a couple years but I had trouble with the SD card just randomly disappearing sometimes (especially after using sleep mode)

And I have only had that problem once, it was easily fixed by restarting. Sounds like you already have it mine is a 3.0 or 4.0 lol

No problemo...I've barely even made a dent in the games probably the vita will break before I finish em rofl
