Digging fence post holes with one of this clam shell hole diggers is slow and such a pain in the butt especially when you get deeper and can't spread the handles apart that much. I bought this non-powered auger tool years ago and it made the digging so much easier. Best investment I ever made for putting fence and decking 4x4's in the ground.
