Personally, I ordered a RoboRock S4 for $300 from Amazon yesterday (coupon on the page for $100). I plan to also order an i7+ (because of the sefl-emptying feature) on BF if prices are what I anticipate ($699). There are lots of good options, but from my study of YouTube robovac videos, it seems to me the LIDAR robots are significantly better at navigating than the ones that use a contrast style camera (Roomba).

If all goes as planned, I'll find out sooner rather than later when I compare the S4 to the i7. I just wish RoboRock had a self-emptying option. There is a Shark IQ model that self-empties, but it is bagless (which I don't care for) and had some initial teething problems. Those issues may have been resolved with later firmware upgrades. But it's a bargain for under $400 for the self-emptying version, at least in comparison to the Roomba versions.
