i'm using this Anker one i got on sale for like a penny when i first got my phone last year. it's thin enough to still let me use wireless charging, which i couldn't do using my Spigen Neo Hybrid....

It's just the nature of it. Some cases are going to grip the curved edge more. Others, like snap on thin cases, do not grip the edge as much and are fine with this protector.
So my debate right now is to stick with this protector and a thin case, or get a protector that only rests on the flat area of the glass, and use the thicker cases.
These are the 3 Spigens I have, last 2 I believe are variants of yours, and the ones that peel up for me. First one is working with the IQ sheild.
