I would recommend the Spigen cases on Amazon. I have one on my iPhone 6plus and it offers good protection while remaining somewhat slim. Here is a link:

It may be for the iPhone 6 but find it for your phone. This particular case is really good.
On mobile so hard to find, but this one except it had the card kick stand thing as well.

I currently use this case. I ordered it quickly when I realized I could get a 6 on launch day. I'm intending to use it as a temporary case until something I really like comes out. This case seems relatively firm, but with the new issues I'm wondering if I shouldn't get something stiffer.
For my 5 and 5S I used the TwelveSouth BookBook. I love having my phone and wallet together as one unit. I wonder if companies building iPhone cases are rethinking their designs now to make them more firm to prevent bending.
Spigen.
I've also had Otter boxes and UAG cases. Always go back to Spigen. I'm currently using the slim armor but on my old phone I used the tough armor which has nicer volume buttons. I drop my phone a lot and Spigen cases have always held up.

I've got this spigen case with a glass screen protector. I've dropped my phone a few times from about waist height and I've got a few scratches on the glass protector but not really anything on the phone itself.
Is this one legit? Seems really cheap.

it has a metal backing so the grip isn't that great, but I've gotten used to it. here's a link. the reviews are pretty accurate:
