I have this one for my XS, and the screen does not make contact with flat surfaces when placed face down - even with the thickness of a screen protector.

I have the Spigen clear case for my X. I had the same one on my 6S Plus. Extremely durable but I will say that clear cases start to discolor over time so be prepared for that. With that said I love my Spigen clear case. The back is plastic but the bumper sides are rubber. This one is great. I’ve replaced it with an Apple leather case because I got a deal on it (cousin works for an Apple Store) but this one is great. Showcases the phoneme design with pretty good protection. Won’t break the bank either.
