My Glock 17 with Olight PL-Mini 2 (just for reference) -$90 & 400 lumens. Also I put this forward so I can wrap my index around the front, but also to show that the attachment allows for a locked forward position, as well as the expected back position. The attachment is well built with rigid click positions for where you want to set it. Great little light, but I haven't found a permanent home for it yet. Bright AF. I recommend not looking into the light to see how bright it gets. lol. Quick disconnect which is badass, and easy magnetic USB charger. Button is momentary with vertical push-downward. If I was going to push you towards one of the three that I own, it would be this one.

My Glock22 with a Veridian X5L Light/Laser - $399 but only 178 lumens. Way too expensive IMO but it has the laser so that's part of the reason. But it is relatively flush. Another downside is that holsters are hard to find. I ended up buying theirs. And now its my home defense Glock22 and I hardly ever shoot it (I have another G22 that gets used that is without a light). Button is horizonal on/off only + pinch both to cycle light/laser combos.

I also owned a Crimson Trace CMR-204 light/laser. Sold it to my buddy. It was bulky as hell and the buttons were cheap feeling. Didn't even feel like it was engaging a button--just mashing plastic and all of a sudden it was on. $339 and a weak 100 lumens for that price. Button was horizonal on/off only + pinch both to cycle light/laser combos.

And just for show n tell, my Glock 19/26 with Streamlight TLR-6 (100 lumens). Button is momentary with horizontal push-inward. The Streamlight TLR-7 might be an alternate for a G17 -- $110 and 500 lumens.

Oddly enough I don't even like my lights on my guns...at least not yet. I keep gravitating to taking the guns without them on it to the range. The Olight I only bought because of a Flash-sale, but if I needed a light on a gun, that would be the one I'd lean towards.

...in fact, I recommend their S1R Baton II. Super tiny light, that is light enough to clip onto a hat, but solid feeling for an EDC. Multiple light levels as well as double tap ultra bright, and triple tap for a strobe. At 1,000 lumens and the size of your finger, its a solid flashlight worth owning.
