You can also get one with a Mini SAS connector and convert your existing ports to SATA III. I wanted to keep mine for large HDDs.

If your mobo supports it, Intel SRT allows you to use an SSD as a cache to an HDD. Less than 64Gb though, not a huge diff IMO (at least to a full-time-all-SSD-boot-drive-everywhere user). Otherwise you could pair a 128Gb SSD with the 1Tb HDD with a Marvell Hyperduo SATA board (like this http://www.amazon.com/Syba-HyperDuo-Port-PCI-SD-PEX40054/dp/B009LIPHNC ) which will do SSD tiering (moves/keeps frequently used stuff on SSD, automatically shuffles less used stuff onto HDD).
