maybe his stand is worth $332?
I'd recommend the TCL 32S327. It fits your needs and its a smart TV with built in Roku. To my knowledge TCL is a brand owned by Roku and I've heard good things about they're TV's.

Thats right through Amazon, Dont get me wrong its not the worlds best TV but its not broken.
That being said, You could try googeling your TV model type, Order a replacement LCD & pray you don't break it more when replacing it. I'm going to assume the LCD panel will not be cost effective.
Yea to piggy back on this, it’s probably just worth it to buy a cheap TV like this
you can get 32" 1080P TV for under $200, you'll pay well more than that for a monitor that size.
You'll regret trying to shoehorn a monitor into this use case, you'll pay more, you'll have no remote control, audio pass through problems, etc.
Here you go, $150 done
I believe I’ve read on this subreddit (but haven’t tried myself) that you can AirPlay from an AppleTV to the Beam, but as others have said, I would recommend just getting a television. If it’s important enough that you have sound at Beam quality, it’s probably worth the extra couple bucks.
Just spent 3 minutes on Amazon. Started at TV, filtered to 32" or less, and found this guy for $149 that has ARC and optical, and is 32” at 1080p (plus, has Netflix etc. on board, so your ChromeCast or AppleTV becomes optional - unless you just plain want one 😀. Hard to beat the price, in my head.
Get the TCL brand on Amazon with roku. It's the best bang for the buck. https://www.amazon.com/TCL-32S327-32-Inch-1080p-Smart/dp/B07F981R8M/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1542963141&sr=8-5&keywords=tcl+32in+tv
