My left speaker is currently pooping out on me, so I'd like to find something to replace my computer audio system. I've been using the TEAC MC-DX32i for what seems to be the better part of a decade, and I've enjoyed it quite a bit for what it is. It has a really nice interface to switch between cd, speakers, and headphones, so I'd like to find something similar to it. Unfortunately, I'll be going to college in the fall, so I won't have the most amount of money to spend nor can I spare a lot of desk space (subwoofer is not a priority). I have a vague sense that I should be looking for monitors and an audio interface, but beyond that, I am so overwhelmed with information I don't know what to do. Any advice as to what I should be looking for is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
