Yes this is exactly what the OP is describing

I was in the market for writing a fairly similar book as well, but never got around to it since it was a low priority thing for me

Basically, what OP is describing is optimized workflows.

He is talking about taking complex models that work in the real world that drives money , SaaS, etc and scaling that down into a smaller, scale, you , your perspective, and what challenges you have in your life

OP is probably most likely a software developer who has to learn complex and complicated systems and has subsequently learned methods to comprehend and use such data.

He is translating this model in an analogy to everyday life instead

say you drive to a grocery store. Then you drive to a hardware store. Then to the gym. Then home. In which order do you do this, and why?

When we talk about GPS mapping , especially for people who do road sales for a living, optimizing GPS sales routes is extremely vital, because they spend 90% of their day in a car. You don't want to waste more time in traffic than you have too.

There is an algorithm for that. Its called the traveling salesman problem

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travelling_salesman_problem

generally you don't think about it since google maps does all the work for you, but this isn't always the case

Basically, OP is describing what people in the productivity world refer to as LEAN, but in a computerscience fashion and analogies with math/computerscience to real life. What works in complex systems can be scaled down to something simple in your life basically

OP is probably using fiction characters similar to this book on career advice (Johnny bunko) and probably took inspiration from it https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1594482918/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 , based on his website and artwork. Its similar to how you read a fiction book, like enders game, and learn a life lesson from it

Ce strategie ai abordat pentru a te imbunatati ca si programator?

Ce limbaje de programare ai folosit intr-un mod semnificativ pana acum?

Care-i contul tau de github? In ce proiecte Open Source esti implicat?

De la ce suma ai putea sa declari ca nu mai duci grija banilor?

Ca si sfat, iti recomand sa citesti 2 carti: The Adventures of Johnny Bunko si So good they can't ignore you. Daca intelegi mesajele din astea 2 carti, o sa fii ok, chiar super ok.

Career guide (From a legit author and everything) in manga form. Pretty good. I told a professor about it in college, they read it and said it was pretty solid too.

5/3/16 backlogged notes DREAM 8 -STUDY THEORY, also what is love from PMT and VMT standpoint

  • My notes are kind off of, will go back to colornote on this to validate information. 2 days ago at the gym I was a bit tired as hell

  • Study Theory is just some bullshit terminology I made up, to describe what the real optimal methods of studying here, quantatively, upon different personalities, iQ's , etc. Most people learn via the same way I do I believe, not my formulas, but by real examples to relate to, R/ELI5 basically

  • My brain was slipping during this dream. Its said that a PhD in dream science stated that if you plan on recording your dream the night its easier to record it in the morning. IDK. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dream. My dream told me of 2 important lessons - something to do with RAPID FEEDBACK-CEPTION. Its like my dream was telling me something really important, but my mind slipped before I could write it down

  • STUDY THEORY is basically MIND STATES. More or less. But, MIND STATES only talks about certain conditions, STUDY THEORY talks about that + Time (Forgetting / Learning curve) and quantifying it
I'd need more data on this to really expand this theory, doing P<0.05 statistical analysis. Its not something that can be done really all that fast, its better off I publish a science paper instead on my "theories" since psychology is wishywashy as hell anyways compared to traditional STEM sciences (like physics, like math - those are DEFINITE PROOFS), I won't be doing studies though anytime soon

  • Also, are psychologist back in the day like Freudian doing what I am basically doing right now, analyzing myself n shit. Idk. Also, wtf is love from a PMT and VMT, s-PMT, and s-VMT standpoint? Its s-PMT and s-VMT in nature?

  • Watching anime excites me too much at night, adrenaline. Had to sleep hynosis myself to sleep

5/3/16 notes backlog: Google + efficiency

  • Use google now a seperate reminder stream from gmail calendar. Use google now for short term notes (1 to 2 weeks) and gmail calendar for longer reminders.

  • Typing is faster than writing for me, less distracting

  • Learning GTD, investing money (I spent like $3k on stupid shits that help me retain more information, e.g. textbooks). Yeah i waste money on lots of shit. How would someone who doesn't want to spend a lot refine their GTD (average person, youtube / internet / cheap apss / notebooks / free education out there) etc. SELF-EDUCATION - BASICALLY, how much does it really cost you?

  • My spellings gone downhill in my younger days. I could've won the spelling bee competitions back in those days, but they forgot to submit my application to nationals, like the school forgot and registered me the wrong AP test. Whatever. Anyways, fucking shit, my spellings gotten shittier since high school

5/3/16 The adventures of Johnny Bunko - lessoned learnt from reading a fucking

    manga

  • SHORT TERM NOTES SYNPOSIS

    • 1' THERE'S NO PLAN. Yes, that's why i write this book, I write for intrinsic reasons, because writing this post is fun, not for objective gains, like scott h young and doing 1 year MIT degree / around the world social experiment for fame and selling off e-books for overpriced values. Anyways, same shit. I write cause i want too

    • 2' THINK STRENGTHS NOT WEAKNESSES. Something Martin Seligman and Marcus Buckingham, and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. As If I gave a flying fuck about psychologist and their teachings, I only care about people who've changed things with their own hands in history and made an everlasting impact. Anyways, something flow of immersed and energy

    • 3' ITS NOT ABOUT YOU. This is wrong, it is always about me first, like this book, like CHOOSE YOURSELF! book from james Altucher. Everyone does things for themselves first, granted for different reasons (Rosen helps kids cause it makes him happy, psychopath CEO like Martin S do it for glory and money and bragging rights). What its saying it that you should think WIN-WIN, you are not priority 1 in a business world. Well I fucking knew that already, that's what I did in my senior project saying "Oh look how great I am memorizing prices at grocery store and fixing silicon tube bikes!" I learned this already the hard way, and getting fired

    • 4' PERSISTENCE TRUMPS TALENT. Yes, this is true as shit. I am extremely stubborn and persistent, mostly because I am untalented as shit at practically everything. I have no innate natural talent except for thinking really
. Have instrinsic motivation to get shit done, take a break every now and then when shit goes south. Take a run break, clog your PMT channel with other things, bam golden idea comes along with shoes and nature tree

    • 5' MAKE EXCELLENT MISTAKES. Johnny Bunko fucking circumvents his boss to claim credit like a retard. Backfires. Anyways, I do do this all the time, Rock Lee see everything as a challenge, not an obstacle learned this from a fucking anime show of all things. Anyways, I intentionally fuck up shit on purpose sometimes, just to see what the bad result is, like in that FoodWars Shokugeki no Soma where his dad and Soma make fucking disgusting peanut butter squid, same shit. Its a testament, of seeing what NOT TO DO, to figure out things to do

    • 6' LEAVE AN IMPRINT. Yes, I am going back to the things that drive me, SCIENCE+HISTORY has taught me so many things, that imprint of other imprints and in GW1 and GW2 gaming is who I am today. My self-taught business knowledge, did not really come from school at all. Anyways, I'd like to give back to that ideal, by publishing my scientific paper (After its peer-reviewed) on my PMT and VMT theory (its more qualitative than quantitative), but there's some decent data backing said theory. Plus I made it up on my own, analyzing my brain, and I even applied some of those principles as well, granted possibly sugarpill placebo effect. You only live so long, you truly die off when no one remembers your name anymore. If I died today because of some uneventful shit like getting T-boned in a car accident, I don't think anyone would really remember me for more than a day, and that bothers me

    • 7' TL;DR I learned a few things in this book. most of it i knew already. #6 is a reason I want to do a TED talk (not a TEDx talk, those are easier to get into, no once you do a TEDx Talk your barred from TED talk on that same topic, from what I've seen). I Want to aim high, I want to create an everlasting impact on people, on science, on things that matter. I already absorbed lots of wisdom from other people growing up, now its time for me to create wisdom for myself and others. I am different and unique in so many ways, there really isn't actually anyone like me to my knowledge. I don't say that as a way to make myself feel better, its something I know with a degree of certainty, kids these days would not experience the same shit as I did growing up thanks to all the resources on the internet now adays. Which means I am an EXTREME example of certain instances and that in itself can benefit the psychology APA community just because in science, you want to first pull up extreme examples to vet theories before doing other tests. Like rapist thread in r/askreddit

Field Notes, and taking notes of ideas at work

  • Some places ban smartphones at work, go fucking figure. Nobody says you can't have a stickynotepad or fieldnotes http://www.amazon.com/Field-Notes-FNC-17-Expedition-3Pk/dp/B00AQO8Q88/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1462728050&sr=8-3&keywords=fieldnotes and jot notes down. I have this thing where I have to go to a factory for a few months and learn some shit. So I won't whip out my phone, just log notes as I do with my colornote and transfer it into my reddit thoughts

  • Doubles up as a log for maintenance work. Say for your car, your boat, etc. Log changes there

    5/4/16 Backlogged notes. Asian ethnicities

  • I don't meet a ton of Cambodian or Mongolians or Indonesian or Singaporeans at all. I don't know why this is. I can't remember the last time I met a Mongolian.

5/4/16 Backlogged notes. UNDERPLAY resume and donate-brain-to-science, Hard-to-relate to people

  • I shouldn't use the full numbers of how long I spent doing things on my resume and underplay myself in interviews. If I referenced this post, I would simply say I did 200,000 words in 2 weeks. I do not want to overplay myself here. I have always, and always will, downplayed my skillsets. Knowing too much or people thinking you know too much is a bad thing, I would know from interviewnig500 people , some of which who knew their shit, they did not. Some people studied XYZ in univeirsity for 4 years, and I have not, but I could point out flaws in their education. Its not that I'm smart, its that there schooling was shit, psh for-profit schools.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Entry level does not mean 'no experience' it means 'no underlings'. Also what are you looking for precisely? What is it that makes you qualified for the job you're going for? Also, always apply to jobs that where you JUST MISS the qualifications. Apply to senior positions even though you aren't senior level. Chances are they'll be looking to fill something just below that senior position.
