Looks like the Butcher is on Amazon, there are Kindle apps for most smartphones and for Windows. Most of them are short enough that reading it on a computer/phone should be okay.

You can read drive here.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. You may also enjoy the other works of James SA Corey especially if you're into science fiction. The Expanse is arguably set in the same universe as "The Hunger After You're Fed", some hundred plus years in the future. If you want to get started in novella form, "The Butcher of Anderson Station" is the basically spoiler-free prequel to the series.

The short stories are all amazing, and a couple bucks each on Amazon. The Churn tell Amos's backstory. Wes Chatham read that book with a therapist to talk about what that sort of childhood would do to an adult to prepare to play Amos. The Butcher of Anderson Station reads like the attack on Thoth station, but way harsher. Much more details than the show portrayed. The Vital Abyss shows what happened to the surviving scientists from Thoth.

Hopefully some mid-management person doesn't decide to raise the rates to show a better quarterly profit.

The bridging book is supposed to be backstory on Johnson and the massacre. The Butcher of Anderson Station. I only read the Amazon reviews, which were somewhat mixed. I agree, the Miller stuff is slow and dry, but I am seeing that Holden is the fire in the belly, so I am going to stay the course.
