To add to what /u/RacheeRach said, there will be pug hair everywhere. Get used to it and don't even think about wearing the opposite color ever again because the hair will be all over you. :)

They are companion dogs, so they will want to be around you and underfoot always. They always want to eat, so definitely limit the treats. Don't fall for the sad puggy face!

I liked this book and thought it had some really good info.
