Thanks for the response. I'll give a sparce reading list, as I find it pretty extensive.
Zizek:
Zizek has plenty of essays and talks floating around as well, but these books are probably the best--the first and second are the most sustained, the third is a lengthy essay making use of theological resources. The fourth contains essays by Eagleton, Vattimo, and Badiou. The fifth is one where he dialogues with theologians about St. Paul. The sixth is a debate with a theologian about theology. The final is a great collection of people all across the board, mostly Marxists, dealing with theology.
Vattimo:
Eagleton:
Eagleton also specializes in short and helpful articles.
Badiou:
Misc. Authors too extensive to list:
Secondary Literature:
Hopefully someone comes by and expands this list. I've gotta get back to work.
The Idea of Communism
Don't know if it's available as e-book. Personally I still like dead trees.
Ah, I see. Then this book may be right up your alley, along with Alain Badiou's The Communist Hypothesis.
David Harvey, Andrew Kliman and Richard D. Wolff are all contemporary Marxian economists, albeit with conflicting views, that are all definitely worth checking out.
