I love his art style—if you guys are interested, check out The Metabarons comic book series written by Alejandro Jordorowsky illustrated by Giminez. It’s like Dune mixed with Star Wars and LSD. One of my favorites that I can not recommend enough to comic book lovers

Edit: here’s the amazon link to the complete saga. I want to reiterate that the art to this series is something to behold in your hands.

Honestly, if Moebius' artwork interests you and you like retro/psychedelic sci-fi, then The Incal might be worth checking out.

But...

The Metabarons can be read without reading The Incal, and is some of the most mythic, primal, borderline regressive insanity I have ever read. Filled with ultra masculine heroes and overly sexualised heroines, the work feels at times like it was written by a thirteen year old boy who got high smoking heavy-metal album covers. Then it surprises you by introducing the worlds first trans superhero, its bizarre veneration of hermaphrodites, and violates virtually every taboo known to humankind.

I think I have read The Saga of The Metabarons three times now, and I still can't tell if its a work of genius or vulgar trash. Either way, I keep coming back to it, and it shocks me in fresh ways every time. There is really nothing like it, and it will probably offend more people than will ever be enamored by it, but if this sounds like something you might be able to stomach... I would recommend it.

I just looked up Metabarons after reading your comment, looks interesting. Is this volume the complete story? I prefer reading series which have already finished.

If you're into graphic novels, I highly recommend The Metabarons.

To me, it is a masterpiece.
