it sucks when you kinda feel in the wind. hopefully you get a new specialist soon.

BRAT is a good short term solution, for when you're sick. Everyone's dietary needs are different long term, but I also found this book to be very helpful. Its about reducing your intake of inflammatory foods, and taking steps to understand what your body reacts to. I've found the book "Eating Right for a Bad Gut" to be a pretty helpful guide for what I should and shouldn't eat. It's not spot on for everyone -- for example I can eat beets without a problem, while it's one of the few things in the "never" column -- but anyone with a sensitive digestive system could probably use it as a jumping-off point for finding trigger foods and safe foods.
