There's a book called The Raw Shark Texts by Steven Hall that I recommend to anyone who'll listen. It's about a guy with no memory, who's chased across land by the idea of a shark, (that he eventually sails out to catch in the basic concept of a boat he makes in a big room) and simultaneously fighting an enemy who's part man and part questionnaire.
It's every bit as crazy as it sounds, but it makes total sense while you're reading it.

I'd like to recommend a book. A book not like anything most people have read.

The Raw Shark Texts.
It's a very novel, well, novel.
It deals with memory, subconscious, dreams, a world between ours and the next and the author hid loads of extra parts to the book around the world, Not all of which have been found as of yet. There's hints throughout the books on locations like under a park bench in London (Which was found) and 100z of others.
Maybe you live somewhere close to a location mentioned in the book and can help find another part of the book if a clue/passage sounds like a familiar local place?
The Raw Shark Texts by Steven Hall has a similar tone and cinematic feeling, while having a very different setting and narrative.
