It is from the book "The Science of Interstellar" written by Kip Thorne, who is the scientific consultant and executive producer of the movie.
Interstellar – Building A Black Hole
It is a good book and it goes well with the movie if you are interested in the physics and smaller details of Interstellar.
Kip was far more involved in the entire film than you give credit for here.
He was a producer.
He also wrote the companion book called "The Science of Interstellar".

OP here. I said sci fi writer to clarify that I'm not an authority. I spent two years of my free time reading up on the subject before writing my first book, so while I'm not an authority I do have creative perspective that I wanted to share.
Sorry if that was confusing. Kip Thorne, the physicist who helped make the movie, is an actual authority and he actually wrote a book, "The Science of Interstellar", which I haven't read but is apparently really good.

Does it say "This title is not currently available for purchase"?
I.e. is it not available for purchase for everyone or is amazon.com pissed at me because I bought a book from amazon.co.uk?
