> The Dzogchen position is that everyone is wrong about the two truths? That's news to me. Do you have a text you can refer me to?
Yes. I am pretty sure it's that one. It refutes essentially every single Buddhist doctrine.
Please don't just say "zen is not understanding", or whatever. I don't give a fuck.
Thing is, this subreddit has become completely useless for me, not to say utterly boring. I know, I know, I should leave then, but not until I say this:
Dzogchen is for me the pinnacle of truth. It speaks to me in greater and deeper ways, something that zen merely hints at (not very effectively, IMO).
The more I know about, and live dzogchen, the more I realize zen is just a diluted version of it, most certainly
copied frominspired by it, but covered in riddles and presumptions talk.I realize many wise old men must have known the truth, but nowadays it is just posers, trying to look smarter.
Well, that is not the way. Over and out.
EDIT: in case you aren’t put off by my heretic sayings, and are actually interested in discovering your true face, the sound of one hand clapping and whatnot, this is amazon's link for the version I prefer. There is a recent, and much praised translation by Jim Valby but I haven't been fortunate enough to get my hands on it.
