Unfortunately, I didn't research as much into Japanese clothing, since my main focus is Korean textiles right now. The only other Japanese-related references I have are both embroidery-related, since I also have a growing interest in East Asian embroidery:

Fortunately, though, Japanese clothing and culture in general has much more mainstream interest and fanaticism, so there's plenty of books and info much more readily available for it than for Korean clothing. I'm sure it would be much easier to find good resources than for Korean textiles, of which resources are sparse, hahaha. Good luck!
