Also, just read that you'd be taking this build to university. In that case, consider a mini-ITX build-the motherboard will cost a little more but the space and weight you're saving (and the better look if that matte is well worth it if you're carrying it around. Up to you with the i5- the i3 is very capable and will suffice for the majority of games. For anything else (that you're using it for), there's absolutely no difference that you'll notice. Perhaps look up some gaming benchmarks comparing the two and see if you can justify the expense.
EDIT:
Something like this for a motherboard http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B015Y0QVQ2?keywords=mini%20itx&qid=1458564646&ref_=sr_1_5&sr=8-5
And my recommendation for a case (can support the length of the GTX960) http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00MJSV9Y2?keywords=thermaltake%20itx&qid=1458564623&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1
Hey guys, I'm installing this SSD into this case, it's a 2.5" SSD, do I need to get any separate adapter brackets or mounts to install it or will I be able to install with what I already have?
I found the Thermaltake v1 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thermaltake-Core-Mini-Cube-Case/dp/B00MJSV9Y2) which is my fall back if I can't find a mATX case.
I'm planning to put a 1050 Ti (mini is fine) with an 8th generation i5 - maybe with an H80 if water cooling is needed to help the temps. Other than an SSD I don't plan to add much else, or overclock - and would prioritise reducing noise where possible.
I already have a pretty expensive spare full size/ATX PSU so would be great to be able to use that.
I've been unable to find a site that allows searching on case dimensions, which would be really useful to easily locate some possibilities to compare.

The case you've chosen looks to be designed with home theatre PC usage in mind so it's not ideal for high powered components like the ones you're chosing. There are still a lot of small form factor cases designed with higher end components in mind, that have more room for more fans and better airflow overall. Such as this case: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thermaltake-Core-Snow-Mini-ITX-Window/dp/B00MJSV9Y2/ref=sr_1_26?keywords=mitx%2Bcase&qid=1565809430&s=gateway&sr=8-26&th=1
Which has much better airflow, as the top and sides have large meshes with plenty of fan mounting locations and a large included fan. It's a bit of a different design of case to the one you've currently picked however it should be a much better fit for the components you've picked while still being easily portable.
Whatever case you do end up picking though make sure it has enough expansion slots to fit your GPU and enough physical space to fit your GPU as well, and also make sure it has room for any other expansion cards you may wish to have such as a WiFi card.
If you're at all interested in small form factor: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thermaltake-Core-Mini-Cube-Case/dp/B00MJSV9Y2/253-6198577-9654108?ie=UTF8&tag=pcp0f-21
I have it and it's solid. Only thing you'd have to watch for is if you put a 3rd party CPU cooler on it, it has to be smaller than 140mm
