For me, switching to a sulfate-free shampoo made my scalp start producing way less grease. That made the biggest difference of all. I tried the baking soda and vinegar no-poo thing, but it just wasn't for me. I used to absolutely have to wash my hair every morning or else I was a giant greasy mess all day, but the ends of my hair always looked dry. this is a good sulfate-free option. Yes, these types of shampoos are a little more expensive than most, but it will make your hair feel much healthier and look better. Sulfates are harsh and strip your hair and scalp of the natural oils it needs to be healthy, so your scalp goes into overdrive immediately following a shampoo to make up for what you lost.
I wash every 2 or 3 days now, and here are some tips:
My hair's not terribly fine, but I fixed my grease issue by doing this, and ended up with shinier, bouncier and much healthier hair in the process. Happy to post pics of my hair if any of you ladies are interested. Best of luck! :)
OKAY, if you had said any shampoo that's nice and cheaper on there, or asked for what I use, I could have sent you one. Do you remotely get where I'm coming from here in not understanding how you expected a miracle link? I'm not "full of shit", you just gave no information and expected answers. I told you what site to search whatever shampoo you wanted for her on, I said that was where and how I got mine, and you didn't do it. Grow the hell up, this makes zero sense. Also, if you go back to where I said "Amazon, you just search for her shampoo", it would have made sense for you to say "I wanted a link to what you use" or "I don't want her shampoo, I want something nicer/new". Not saying "so you can't get me a link?" considering to me, that meant I had to seriously give you a link to amazon.com.
here
and here
but my shampoo is for color-treated hair containing red and violet based dyes to prevent them from washing out, so she might need something else. See how easy that was once you explained what you wanted? People aren't being retarded when they don't read your mind. Also, if those links come out messed up, I'm at work and this computer formats reddit really weird.
