If your bike is worth at least a hundred bucks to you, you could always buy something like this. They deterents are good, but tracking is better. Just how it in the seats or the handle bars or something.

I got this the other day - it does use a sim but it sounds like a pay-as-you-go one would work fine so there isn't really really a subscription fee as such. Haven't really had a chance to play around with it yet though.
