You don't mention cleaning - have you thoroughly cleaned it?

  1. run the cleaning cycle at least twice with a citric acid solution. Remove the filter from the tank when you do this. Allow the machine to sit a few hours after each cleaning cycle. This lets the acid dissolve as much calcium build up as possible. Perform another cleaning cycle with filtered water.

  2. backflush with cafiza.
