So this isn't going to work?
My current device is a Lenovo Y50 Touch. The keyboard has partially failed, is not replaceable, & Lenovo is refunding me the full price via my extended warranty. Not being able to replace or upgrade parts is my biggest concern at this point, even over portability.
As far as a cheap touchscreen to tide me over until I could buy an amazing monitor is something like this; nothing fancy by any means.
You make a really good point about portability, weight & space, TBH, you've changed my mind on making portability a priority.
